Villa Leguano

NEW!! Villa Leguano is a modern, newly renovated, beautiful detached villa with all amenities and ingredients for a wonderful vacation on Curacao. The villa, suitable for eight people, is located in the neat and quiet neighborhood of Julianadorp, just a few minutes' drive from many beaches, trendy beach clubs, restaurants and shops.

Julianadorp falls under the Groot Piscadera area. The first homes were built in 1928. It consisted of 40 houses with a 2nd floor. This district is called "old Julianadorp". Adjacent to these high-rise buildings, low-rise homes were built between 1945-1950, which are spread over the 3 residential hills in the district. The lower areas were water catchment areas. Tropical buildings were taken into account, so that the wind direction, for example, determined the direction in which each house was placed. Julianadorp was also called the Shellbuurt at the time. During Queen Juliana's visit to Curaçao in 1955, Julianadorp was officially given her name and the plaque on the monument in the school garden was unveiled by the Queen.

Julianadorp has short lines to all beautiful places due to its geographical location, directly on Willemstad. Curaçao is a relatively small island, but the roads are busy and especially the south side towards Jan Thiel is very sensitive to traffic. You will not be bothered by that here, the beautiful beaches of the Westpunt, and nearby Blue bay (Blauwbaai), Boca beach, Kokomo beach, are super easy to reach and offer many options to spend the day. In addition to the beautiful beach and restaurant, Blue Bay resort also offers a golf course and a beautifully landscaped area with even flamingos. The ATM, many companies on Curacao still use cash, is around the corner from our house, and the large beautiful supermarket Centrum Piscadera is 1 km away.

But in the immediate vicinity there are also many restaurants, eateries in local style, and the large Sambil shopping center is less than 2.5 km away. Willemstad center Otrabanda, is a 10-minute drive away.
